On Wednesday 8 December 2010 Dr Michael Krowka of the Mayo Clinic, USA, will be visiting the Institute to give a seminar entitled: "Update on hepato-pulmonary syndrome and porto-pulmonary hypertension." The talk will being at 12 noon in the 2nd floor offices. All staff are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided.
Also, the Christmas party. As mentioned in my email of a few days ago, the plan is to go to Le Bel Canto where the waiting staff will burst into song throughout the evening and demonstrate their credentials as opera stars in waiting. The party is on Wednesday 8 December and more details will follow. The cost will be £35 per person with Prof having agreed to subsidise the cost of the evening 'because we're worth it'.
